Davin Pickell
Founder

Davin began his career in 1995 at American Players Theatre in Spring Green, WI. Five years later he was hired as a Theater Technician at the Madison Civic Center (now the Overture Center for the Arts) where he continues to play a key role in the production department. Educating young people in technical theater is his true passion; he served as the Technical Director at both McFarland H.S. from 1989 to 2000 and Vel Phillips Memorial H.S. from 2017 to 2023. Davin has been a member of IATSE Local 251 in Madison, WI, since 1997.
Andrew Butterworth
Co-Founder

Andrew joined the production department at the Overture Center for the Arts as a Technical Associate in May 2023 after having studied Technical Theater
at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They have worked as a scenic carpenter and a theatrical electrician on various community and professional productions since beginning their journey in theater in 2014. Andrew contributes technical skills to Seeding Equity, helping to inspire and educate youth in the performing arts. They are a member of IATSE Local 251 in Madison, WI.
